The service

Marketang is an online service that helps businesses find business contacts, write outreach emails and messages with AI, and send them from the customer's own mailbox. These terms apply to everyone who creates an account.

Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your businesses.

Acceptable use

You may only use the service for genuine business-to-business outreach. You must comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and any other law that applies to your messages.

You may not use the service to send spam, to contact consumers for direct marketing without consent, to send misleading or unlawful content, or to contact anyone who has opted out. We may suspend accounts that are used this way.

You're responsible for the emails sent from your mailboxes and for checking AI-written drafts before you approve them.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in South African rand by card through PayFast and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page; we're not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of new leads and AI-written messages, which resets on the 1st of each month and doesn't roll over. Top-ups are once-off purchases, don't expire and are used after the monthly allowance.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. See the refund policy for refunds.

Your data

You own the leads, campaigns and messages in your account. You can export them at any time. We handle personal information as described in the privacy policy.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the service available and accurate, but it's provided as is. AI-generated research and drafts can contain mistakes, so check them before use.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will email you about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
